Why Should You Try Other Social Media Apps Like Instagram?

Do you ever feel Instagram – is a dark cloud in your social media life? Instagram is a tech giant owned by Facebook and loved by millions of users. It started just as a photo-sharing application back in 2010 and today has created a social media monopoly.

It can be the only sole reason to let down Instagram. Besides, users have also complained about the plummeting of its engagement due to algorithms favoring massive accounts and sponsored posts.

Another reason that forces users to look for Instagram alternatives is the platform’s intrusive privacy policy. Instagram has complete access to your personal information; they can record, track, and share this data whenever and wherever they want.
Furthermore, they even have access to your camera and microphone and a nonexclusive right to any content you are sharing.

Popular Social Media Apps Like Instagram

In this ever-evolving era of digitization, social media plays a massive role in the success of most businesses. To have a better idea of this, here are some of the favorite photo-sharing apps that you can use to promote your products and services:

If a person is looking for some home design concepts or wedding ideas, they can find everything on Pinterest. It also offers users the features to save pictures, organize them, label saved posts, and share them with friends and followers.

Apple was established in 1976; since then, it has been one of the leading computer and smartphone industry companies.
The company has its flagship in making personal computers, proprietary operating systems, and aesthetically pleasing features. The most surprising part of the 1sth iPhone Generation is that Apple’s First iPhone didn’t support video recording with a 2MP back camera.

Yet the first iPhone supported quad-band GSM, proximity sensor, and iPhone’s operating system (iOS), which syncs up emails, notes, iTunes, and bookmarks using phone designs. Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak endowed Apple.

Since the launch of the first Apple product, the company has prevailed in the industry. However, despite the ups and downs in the business, Apple never stepped back. Consequently, the company became the first publicly traded company to garner a market capitalization of $1 trillion in August 2018.

Moreover, the company launched its last rival – iPhone 12, on October 13, 2020, in a virtual event. Learning the buzz and overwhelming excitement of iPhone users, we came up with this writing that covers all the iPhone generations.

So, since its inception in 2007, let’s recap all the series of iPhones launched and how Apple’s flagship phone evolved through different generations.

1st Generation (2007)

A Macworld convention in 2007 was held in San Francisco, where Apple launched its first iPhone to revolutionize the mobile phone industry. Apple made a daring move at the moment by giving a mobile without a plastic keyboard which was prominent in mobiles of that time.

This iPhone debut mobile had three unique features; a widescreen iPod, a mobile phone, and a breakthrough internet communication device. Furthermore, the phone had a 2MP back camera and a 3.5-inch multi-touch screen of excellent quality resolution of 165 pixels per inch.

The most surprising part of the 1sth iPhone Generation is that Apple’s First iPhone didn’t support video recording with a 2MP back camera. Yet the first iPhone supported quad-band GSM, proximity sensor, and iPhone’s operating system (iOS), which syncs up emails, notes, iTunes, and bookmarks.

Again in his black turtleneck, Steve Jobs launched the new iPhone 3G at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference on June 9, 2008. The 2nd Generation of the iPhone claimed the tagline of “Twice as Fast at Half the Price.”

The price of the iPhone was kept as low as possible while accelerating internet speed with 3G. Furthermore, the phone was updated with built-in GPS and iPhone 2.0 iOS software that supported Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.

It is not wrong to call iPhone 4 as first Selfie mobile phone as it brought a front camera of 0.3 Mega Pixels and a 5 MP back camera. This time, Apple also paid attention to finishing details by introducing the glass and stainless steel thinnest body mobile.

With the release of the iPhone 4, there were many rounds of rumors. One of these rumors was true, that was revealing all details before the official announcement. The real trouble began when Apple’s software engineer accidentally left the iPhone 4 prototype in the bar.

And then, a popular tech magazine Gizmodo bought it from the bar patron for only $5000. Thus, Apple went for legal charges and inaction taken by the Rapid Enforcement Allied Computer Team.

Businesses worldwide these days have gone far from conventional practices. So if you are looking for some resources to revamp business software solutions or build a new presence but lack both the vision and execution?

While building their digital presence, many businesses outsource specific projects to qualified professionals. When a business owner hires a software development company, many perspectives arise, mainly the question of whether to opt for staff augmentation or hire consulting services.

We’ve highlighted both concepts’ significant pros and cons to simplify your hiring process. Moreover, the most practical situations to follow specific approaches are also explained; you can compare yours with the explanation below and select the right option.

What Is Staff Augmentation?

Staff augmentation is a prevalent practice followed in software development companies for staffing a new project to meet business goals. This hiring model checks the balance between current personnel and evaluating personnel needs.

In staff augmentation, a company optimizes the existing staff on a contractual basis to meet your business’s digital needs. The only difference between staff augmentation and standard recruiting is that it involves short-term goals to achieve.

However, there is a massive demand for IT staff augmentation services among the top software development companies to stay ahead of competitors.

Pros Of IT Staff Augmentation

It turns out to be soft on the organization’s investment since you’re only liable to temporarily pay until the project’s completion. Whereas on the other hand, there is a privilege to save time and resources required for in-house staff development and production.

Staff augmentation is an ideal strategy when handling staff needs and resources required. Thus, it aids staff control while working on clients’ work.

It provides advantages to businesses since they can recruit the requisite staff to support their in-house team concerned with specific projects.

With a staff augmentation approach, companies have the upper hand to accomplish their projects with more efficiency. Clients enjoy in-house expert developers at your desired times and selected tasks.

Moreover, they’ve got a direct approach to the team members and get instant feedback from experts in any unforeseen circumstances.

Furthermore, the internal team considers the staff augmentation model less risky than other models like outsourcing a project. It states that mixing up the current workforce with a few new experts is less risky than the entire project outsourcing idea.

Cons Of Staff Augmentation:

If you are planning to hire staff temporarily, then it demands ramping up the IT infrastructure and electronic equipment like desk computers, badges, and others. Consequently, it often inflates the company’s revenue.

Whereas in terms of pricing structure, staff augmentation is often more highly-priced than project-based consulting.
Without any kind of professional training, no resource management managed to cause a shift in the company’s processes, tools, and ethics. Plus, if you are training new professionals, it often results in management overhead.

What Are Consulting Services?

Consulting services are meant to be customized for a specific purpose but by permanent supervision, feedback, and a high level of organization adaption.

It consists of external monitoring of the company’s non-profile network. It proves to be beneficial in addressing the internal concerns of the organization. Moreover, the company requires no HR, IT, or department intervention.

Pros Of Consulting Services:

Since the development team is working remotely, there is no need for office furniture or technical equipment. So, the company doesn’t need to spend more on such premises expenses.

The most highlighting advantage of consulting services is that it also saves clients time. Besides, the efforts of availing resources are also cut down, thus reducing the additional time and financial risks.

Consulting service approach is entirely focused on the management process and is responsible for managing the infrastructure in a better way.

Software development tasks are highly prone to certain security risks and cyber-attacks. A consulting service reduces the risk and threats that might cause any damage or result in lengthy network failure.

When hiring an IT consulting firm, you employ a dedicated team with massive knowledge and exceptional skills. Besides, top-rated IT consulting companies have expertise in various IT domains and technologies to ensure the project leverages the advantages of efficient technologies.

Cons Of Consulting Services:

When a client subscribes to a project-based consulting firm, their development team will work only on the duty hours of their company. As they might be busy on other several ongoing projects, there are fewer chances of getting responses and feedback right away.

Most top-performing IT consultants will be found developing suggestions like TECHNOLOGY UPGRADES, which does not always sound beneficial. They may pursue you to invest in the latest technologies to enhance your business model.

Furthermore, while following consulting services, you should be ready to bear short-term or unexpected expenses as these IT experts charge clients on an hourly basis.

However, there is still room for negotiation when you make a deal with those you’ve worked with before too. You can also rely on new hires if you have a good relationship with them or if they’ve got an excellent mark on the list.

Want to get cost-effective staff augmentation services? COME TO CLUSTOX NOW!

What Is The Difference Between Staff Augmentation And Consulting Services?

Now, you are pretty much clear with the idea of both approaches. So it’s time to jump right away to the main topic about what’s the difference between staff augmentation and consulting services.

Cost-Effectiveness

As mentioned above, that staff augmentation strategy helps in cutting down the cost. When you temporarily onboard IT experts for a project, the company won’t ask you to pay any extra cost other than the finalized paycheck. The company will save time and cost from the training and development process of resources as they already have experts with the expertise and skills necessary to deliver desired products.

Control

When an expert tech staff gets onboard to take complete control of the project, these experienced project managers have more capacity and control to supervise crucial factors of the project. Besides, they ensure that the project is timely completed and delivered in its highest quality.

Flexibility

In the current competitive environment, businesses prefer to have the flexibility to stay relevant and prosper throughout the industry. In this situation, staff augmentation proves to be beneficial for businesses by allowing them to expand their portfolios to non-core services.

They simply take onboard expert staff to support their in-house team. Consequently, it gives businesses the flexibility and agility to remain competitive in the market.

Lower Risk

If you are hiring consulting services, they might not be the ideal option for data-sensitive projects such as software development and others. When you outsource your work to some consulting agency, they lose control over the project monitoring and status.

Therefore, it is necessary to get expert staff onboard to minimize the risks related to data and unauthorized access. Still, you should keep a critical eye on the whole project till the end.

Staff Augmentation And Consulting Services: Benefits Of Combination

Both options are not mutually exclusive solutions. Companies that started working on one approach initially can easily take advantage of others gradually.

Therefore, when software development companies find that an external option gives them more advantages and is highly profitable, they prefer to develop a relationship with that new idea. So, when two approaches are used in combination, they can strengthen the company’s potential.

By using both approaches, the company adds increased product responsibility, end-to-end support, and ongoing IP advantages.
Moreover, when a consultation element is added to the internally focused augmentation team, it creates opportunities to improve development methods, expand tech stack and tool options, and keep the enterprise at pace to compete in the market.

Final Words

The choice between staff augmentation and consulting services ultimately depends on one’s preferences and ground realities. Some software development companies feel more comfortable with consulting services, while others prefer to hire consulting agencies for their app development projects.

However, many software development companies also take care of both clients. Whether they want to go for staff augmentation or consulting services, they cater to them all.

With many resourceful teams tuning brilliant ideas into reality, tech startups seem to take the lead. These new software business setups seem to be growing rapidly, providing their customers with the smartest possible solutions.

The tech industry has always been on the verge of evolution. Unlike the early stages, the solutions provided these days are much more advanced. While turning the concept into a real thing is the actual goal, all this can be ultimately worthless until it can generate an actual profit.

This might leave the founders or development team at a greater risk that the competitors might surpass you. So, the best idea is to take baby steps instead of aiming for perfection, and to develop an MVP is an excellent valid idea.

What is a Minimum Viable Product

An MVP or a minimum viable product is basically a bare-bone version that refers to the core features of your product. This can help you have a clearer understanding or idea of whether your project is practically going to work or not.

This will not only help you to save a lot of resources but will also give your product a run in the market more quickly and cheaply. Another thing to remember about an MVP is that the goal is to not just identify if it works but also something that their perspectives will love.

For several developers, building and planning a minimum viable product is to figure out what features they can squeeze into the initial version of the app according to the time and budget restraints of the client.

While for business owners or clients, an MVP is built to extend their company or start a profitable business. This just does not limit purely checking how well the product is likely to perceive the market and business needs.

Importance of Building an MVP

An MVP holds so much significance as it helps to take the initial steps and start working on a project. It is also the simplest way to identify how practical the entire idea of the product that you might be planning to launch in the market.

With the intent of easy and rapid development within a minimal budget, a minimum viable product lets you have a clear insight into the industry by collecting user feedback on the product. These reviews can be later used in the later iterations to overcome the issues and come up with a better plan.

This test of the hypothesis of a particular software can certainly help you a lot to solve a customer problem without having to get into much hassle. It is also quite beneficial in developing a final product with the least bugs and errors.

Types Of MVPs

Most commonly, a minimally viable product is divided into two main categories, which are:

Low-Fidelity MVPs

As the name suggests, low-fidelity MVPs are a simpler, easier-to-create product version. It relatively provides more basic outcomes that can be used to comprehend the requirement of the potential prospects.

While it might be an elementary version of the product, it holds a lot of value in collecting customer feedback without spending too much money. Some of the types or examples of low-fidelity MVPs are:

  • Landing Pages
  • Prototypes
  • Explainer Videos
  • Marketing Campaigns

High-Fidelity MVPs

On the contrary, a high-fidelity MVP is built to help identify whether your potential clients are likely to pay for your provided solution. While it is also used to collect customer data, it is comparatively a much more complex form of a product.

However, it provides more profound outcomes that are worth all the time, effort, and money. Some of the most common types of high-fidelity MVPs are:

  • Single Featured MVP
  • The “Wizard of OZ” MVP
  • The “Concierge” MVP

Minimum Viable Product vs. Proof of Concept

POC, or Proof of Concept, is basically used to validate your app idea before the launch of an MVP. While an MVP is how your potential market prospects will conceive the app, POC is used to check if your idea is even practical enough to be implemented.

Now the actual concept is how to decide if your project needs POC or an MVP. The answer is pretty simple! If you want to identify if your app idea is technically possible to introduce, you should proceed with POC.

For this, you can pitch your idea to multiple investors to close the most beneficial deal. MVP is the next step of POC once your idea is feasible enough to understand the potential target audience.

How to Build a Minimum Viable Product

Now that you have a complete idea about what an MVP should look like and when it should be built, here are three steps to understand how to build the minimally viable product:

Define The Purpose Of An MVP

The first and foremost step before launching an MVP of your project is to do ideal market research and properly figure out the right purpose of an MVP. This will help guide you to the right path and ensure that you have enough information to get started in the industry.

Since hundreds of apps are available in the market, you need to make sure your app offers something unique while understanding the pain points of your potential prospects. Also, find out if your app will solve their problems.

Start The Market Research

Once you know your app idea, the next step is to figure out how it can really make its place in the target market. It is also one of the most important steps you need to determine before launching your MVP.

Having a great app idea is just not enough. You also need to know how to sell your idea and who exactly is your potential target audience. This would require you to fetch all the relevant information about your competitors and ideal customers to have more detailed insights into the industry.

Map Out User Flow

Mapping out user flow is an excellent way to determine their path while using your provided platform. No matter what niche your app idea belongs to, finding out more about the user journey will give you a clearer idea of your goals.

This way, you will also be able to find out where there might be any loopholes left in your plan and where things need to be improved for a better outcome.

Prioritize Mvp Features

After you have defined the user journey in detail, the next step would be to add features in your MVP that will let your target audience navigate through your app without having to get into much hassle.

While this might sound a bit overwhelming, the secret recipe is to only look into the core idea of creating your app. For a better understanding, you can also start by segregating your features into three categories: nice-to-have but not necessary, main features, and not-important or needed features.

Launch Mvp

Finally, it is time to launch and test your MVP in the market. At this point, you are likely to be aware of the core features of your app, the user journey, and your target potential audience. All this information is significant to build a successful MVP.

Creating the MVP will work as a stepping-tone in updating your app, getting user feedback, and creating something phenomenal in the future.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Adding too many unnecessary features
  • Not paying attention to the user feedback
  • Not having a proper viable product strategy
  • Focusing on perfectionism in the first draft
  • Trying to please a large group of people

Final Takeout

To put it all in a nutshell, building an MVP plays an important role in your product development cycle. However, not using the right approach to build and launch your MVP in the market can lead to a waste of time, effort, and money. So, make sure to follow the right technique and focus on developing a basic structure or foundation of your product with the main features rather than aiming for perfectionism in one go.

In web development, the importance of frameworks can never be denied. The standards of web apps are always getting higher. Therefore the relevant technology also needs to get complex. Presently, there are a great number of frameworks available in the market for web development.

This diverse inventory becomes responsible for confusing even the most competent developers. How your website looks fundamentally depends on the framework you select for its development.

Experienced web developers using the best and latest frameworks for web development can help you provide quite stable and superior experiences to your customers. Some of the best and most popular web frameworks of 2023 are as follows:

Benefits Of Using Web Development Frameworks

With the advancement in the development world, frameworks have certainly played an important role. These web development frameworks offer pre-defined guidelines and a codebase as well to create seamless web applications.

Here are some of the top benefits of using web development frameworks:

  • Enhanced security
  • Easy debugging process
  • Convenient code reusability
  • Improved code efficiency
  • Accelerated development

Classification of Framework Architectures

According to the framework architecture, these types are classified as follows:

1. Model View Controller
2. Model View-View Model
3. Push-based and Pull-based
4. Three-tier Organization

Different Types of Web Development Frameworks

Considering the development requirements in mind, here are the two basic types of web development frameworks:

  • Front-end Framework
  • Backend Framework

Angular JS

Angular.js is one of the most well-known and useful frameworks for website development. Basically, it is an open-source framework of Java that is helpful in making applications with single web pages by using the MVC pattern.

You can call it a front-end framework rather than a full-stack framework. It is amazing if you want to handle your web pages by using it. While building an e-commerce website, one must have Angular.js in his/her toolkit for the best results.

Websites like Netflix, Freelancer, PayPal, Twitch, etc., have been developed using Angular.js. It offers an impressive website portfolio. The latest version of this framework is Angular 4.

Google has offered this product, which is why it holds the top position in the list of the most popular web development frameworks.

Ruby On Rails

Ruby on Rails is such a framework that works on the server side. It has an association with RAD, i.e., Rapid Application Development. It supports the reusability of the code and the accommodation of changes quite easily.

Ruby on Rails has a widespread development community because of the framework’s open-source nature. “Rails” is popular for preferring conventions over configuration.

The developers have the option of using different conventions instead of using configuration files. It considerably speeds up the process of development.

“Rails” also supports the RESTful architecture style. It ensures the applications are built in such a way that it has a logical structure. This can be crucial in the case of robust distributed systems. Agile development is preferable in the community of Ruby on Rails.

In this type of development, iterations are accommodated, and the overall process becomes flexible. It helps a lot in making the overall process of project management convenient enough.

Ruby code is used in the framework of Rails and is self-documenting. So there is no need for producing separate documentation; it results in an increase in its productivity.

Laravel

Laravel is one of the best backend frameworks of 2023. Basically, it is a backend web-development tool for e-commerce sites.
Since the time of its development, it has been quite promising and has been delivering auspicious results and making things favorable for developers throughout the globe. It is an open-source framework that is based on PHP.

It is built with the intention of creating the best applications of all time. The system of Laravel includes a dependency manager. It assists in the maintenance of the application and its deployment.

That is why it is known to be the best framework based on PHP and is very important for building e-commerce websites.

API in Cyber Security

API stands for Application Programming Interface and is basically a communication protocol that enables applications to interact with each other. The API interface is also used by multiple computer programs in order to maintain and implement software.

Another thing to remember is that APIs are also used to share and extract data across and within certain organizations. This means that they are designed to be accessible and consumed by a specific set of audiences, i.e., developers.

Not just that, APIs enable businesses or organizations to transform digitally rapidly in order to increase customer demands and keep up with the market competition.

What are API Attacks

In this fast-paced era, as technology is advancing with every passing moment, it is enabling people to solve difficult problems without having to get into much hassle. While on the other side, hackers and cyber attackers are also using technology in a negative way to maliciously attack systems.

So, API attacks are basically hackers/attackers trying to exploit data by attempting hostile usage or abusive usage of API data. Most of the time, these attacks might be inflicted due to any number of reasons, such as poor code, API expansion, logic vulnerabilities, etc.

However, one thing to remember is that since every organization has a unique API structure, every API security gap is also going to be different from one another. The attackers mostly spot these loopholes and enter the system from such API endpoints.

Importance of API Security

Since APIs have direct access to the services and critical data of a mobile or web application, this puts the entire software of an organization at a major risk. For this very reason, most web applications are attacked using APIs.

The loopholes left in API development can make any application vulnerable and an open opportunity for attackers for their malicious activities. It is because APIs expose sensitive data, resources, and application logic, which increases the attack surface as well as additional threats.

Types of API Attacks

There are several different types of API attacks because they keep on changing forms. It is also why these attacks are quite difficult to find. Here are some of the most common ones:

API Injection Attack

This is one of the most common API attacks that happens when malicious data is injected into several different parts of the web protection. Unverified or untrusted API data is sent to an interpreter as a part of their query to attack the system.

What happens is the attacker or user sends malicious database queries with the API requests in order to implement the injection attack. Once the command is sent to the system, it is then brought to the server.

This turns out to be really dangerous as this query might delete some directories or, in some cases, even the entire application from the server.

Man/Bot-In-The-Middle (MITM)

In simple words, Man/Bot-in-the-Middle is identity theft. This kind of attack occurs when an attacker enters a conversation between an application and a user unethically. It is done in order to imitate one of the parties or to eavesdrop, making it look like a general exchange of information.

This way, the attacker targets personal and sensitive business information and steals the credentials for websites where login is required. In other words, the MITM attack is equivalent to your mailman stealing your bank details and then delivering the mail to your door, making it look normal.

Insufficient Logging And Monitoring

This kind of attack happens most of the time when an API fails to respond at the time of the breach. This is because no logs were notified or created. Poor logging and monitoring might not seem like a direct threat, but it can still cause delays in detecting the attack.

This type of threat basically makes the organization link to the ongoing malicious attack or any other previous attack as well. This also creates a wall between the system and the required information that would be needed to identify the impact of the attack.

DoS/DDoS Attack

The DoS stands for Denial of Service, and DDoS stands for Distributed Denial of Service. In such malicious attacks, the hacker tries to make the system inaccessible to its users. The way the attacker makes it unavailable for the users is by flooding the server with unusual internet traffic.

Just like any other API attack, the purpose of this malicious activity is also to find a loophole in the API endpoints and enter the system for unethical purposes. In DoD or DDoS, the attacker intends to make the system slower in order to exhaust the user’s resources.

How to Prevent API Attacks Effectively

Keeping a checklist of API security helps you take preventive measures that are needed to lay a good technical foundation without leaving any ambiguity behind. Here is the API security checklist that can help your system to stay away from attackers and keep your organization’s sensitive data safe.

API Security Testing

Every functionality or feature that the APIs of your system have to offer or are generated for tends to be a potential risk for your system. This is because it might create a possible vulnerability through which attackers can enter your system and exploit your data.

To ensure your data is secure and no hacker can abuse your API is by adequately responding to all the API tests. You can follow the given checklist of tests:

  • Penetration test
  • Vulnerability scan
  • Functional test
  • Performance test

However, one thing you need to keep in mind is that all these tests are not there to improve the API security and are rather a way to check all the hidden technical issues to keep all cybercriminals away from your sensitive data.

Access Control

The reason why it is more difficult to make sure that no attacker can access the functionalities or sensitive information of the system is that they do not need to sign to cause damage to the data when a certain API has access control vulnerability.

For this very reason, access control is an essential aspect of API security that helps prevent unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security threats. It can be implemented using different methods, such as oAuth, API keys, etc.

Using the access control mechanisms in API security, developers are likely to be able to prevent unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security threats that can harm the organization’s data.

Authentication And Authorization

Authentication refers to verifying the identity of a user or client making a request to an API. It is necessary to ensure that only authorized users can access the protected resources of the API. Some of the most popular authentication methods include token-based authentication, API keys, OAuth, etc.

On the other hand, authorization is the process of identifying whether a user or client requesting an API has the essential permissions to access the requested resources.

In other words, it is used to ensure that only authenticated users with the correct privileges can access specific API parts. The most common authorization methods include Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC), and others.

Front-End Security

Front-end security in API security refers to the measures taken to secure the client-side or front-end components of an application that interacts with an API. These components include web browsers, mobile apps, desktop apps, and other client-side applications.

Front-end security is important to reduce the risk of unwanted attacks and can include input validation, encryption, Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) protection, Content Security Policy (CSP), and the use of secure communication protocols.

By implementing these security measures, developers can help protect the company’s application and users from potential security threats and vulnerabilities without having to get into much hassle.

Conclusion

To sum it all up, maintaining high-performing API security is necessary to secure your system from bleeding and keep your sensitive information safe in your system. By ensuring that your APIs are built on a strong foundation, you can try to overcome a lot of technical difficulties. Following some of these best API security practices will certainly help you safeguard your organization and reduce the threats of any kind of unwanted behaviors or attacks.

Frequently Asked Questions

To prevent API attacks, you can implement security measures such as input validation, authentication, authorization, encryption, rate limiting, and logging. You can also use tools such as API gateways, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems to monitor and protect your API.

API encryption refers to encrypting data transmitted between the client and server. It helps prevent attacks by ensuring that sensitive information, such as user credentials and personal data, is encrypted and protected from interception and unauthorized access.
